Any of you guys live in Pennslyvania

I just received a job offer from my employer to take a job in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. I know absolutely nothing of the area. I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada and hate it and I have wanted to live else where I just wanted to know if you guys had any opinions on the area? What is the cost of living there also, it is pretty expensive to live here, but the job in Bethlehem will come with about a $20k a year pay increase. They also haven't figured it out yet but I will get between $5k-$10k in moving expenses, we are leaning towards going but I don't want to be moving into a shithole either.

well i live in pa and i dont think it bad. great country side and living costs are not high. the only down fall to living here is that it is really rural.

Because after living in Chicago for 26 years, I am done with winters and fucking snow. I prefer margaritas, sand, and bikinis.

yeah same here but im stuck here. lol so i deal with it. and i kindof enjoy the snow some times

Yeah I hate Las Vegas and 120 degree summers I think I can deal with snow for a little while. The big thing is not just the money but there is a good title increase as well. But sucks because my soon to be wife will have to give up her job here in Vegas to go. She wants to go more than I do. I just dont know how difficult it is to find jobs there. She has worked for Sprint as a cell phone repair technician and she is currently a waitress and makes really good tips and going to college to be a geologist, but we need more income then just mine. We kinda collected a lot of monthy bills (i.e. car payments), we got too used to living on 100k+ combined a year.
