Any long time car audio fans remember this headunit?

Alright, total long shot here, but thought I would ask.. Anyone remember an OLD single din clarion head unit, came out right after the alpha touch units were discontinued. It was a high end unit in the line up (I wanna say it retailed around $600). Had a rotary knob on the left side with a button in the middle of the knob that changed colors, and had (an amazing for the time) color display, with a few different screensavers (I seem to remember a star screensaver at least). Im pretty sure it was a NON mp3 headunit (was out before MP3s were popular) Had all the other high features, 3 sets of preouts, etc..

Anyhow, LONG shot I know, but I would be so happy to get any help!

It was a carbon grey, no metal or aluminum look, the button in the middle of the rotary knob is solid, and when powered off it is kinda milky clear, however when turned on the knob can be different colors!

Also, the display is more "oel-ish", not backlit dot matrix.

Here's mine along with the DPH7500z.This whole package cost me $50.00

Made in '97, '98 and '99. MSRP between $650-700. Awesome HU.

That would be its older brother, the DRX9375r.

The 9255 (a true Clarion, X or Z, doesn't matter- NOT an Addzest) is the next highest Clarion on my want list, besides the 7580 from '93.

Still, my favorite has to be the ADCS-1. I love every chance I can get to talk about it. There's to many pieces (photos) for me to post pics of mine right now.
