Any Good Pre-Made/Off-Shelf Subs with Boxes?

First time system builder and wondered if I absolutely have to have a custom box. Looking at 1 8" or 10". Thoughts on a polk, fosgate, etc?

I am happy with the JL micro subs. I have a dual 8 version in my truck that sounds very good. It's probably doing a 130db max so It'll never win a competition, but it does sound great on music.
