Any good ideas?

I am in need of some advice. I have a 91 chevy s-10 and I would like to put some kind of a system in it but the only problem is that I dont have a lot of room. I have the good old bench seat in it and I really cant move it foward much because I am 6'6" tall. I just wanted to know if anybody had any ideas that could help me out. Thanks for the input.

a buddy of mine had two L5 8"s and it sounded really good in his single cab s10.

That is kinda what I was thinking I was going to have to do. I guess if you get a good enough sub an 8 would be perfect. I would like to try to squeeze a 10 in there just because it would get a little deeper but I guess anything is better than nothing. Thanks

you can do a pair of 10"s but with the given amount of air space, you would be better off with a pair of 8"s, and the L7 8" is a good woofer.

Yeah I thought about the air space and that was my big problem. I think I will just stick with the 8's. Should I run that L7 8" sealed or ported?

i would go with a pair of L5 8"s ported.

What I would do is put a camper shell on the back of it and put sound dampening material all over the inside of it, then put 2 18" solo x kickers in the back with a hifonics XX-Maxximus mono amp powering them bridged at 2 ohm for 10k watt rms. Don't forget to weld the camper shell onto the bed...might need a couple extra batteries, hell might as well buy an atv engine and rig a couple of alternators up to it as well in the back.

After doing that, I'd rig up 4 6 1/4" per door and maybe throw a 6-8 tweeters up around the dash.

That would be some kind of a system, but im not sure if it's the kind your looking for. You could also visit local junk yards and find two single seats, maybe throw some seat covers over them and then you'd have a little more room in the middle, you could easily fit a good 12" in there.
