I know what retail is/should be....I'm wondering about employee cost. Seems like Alpine units employee cost is like 60% of retail, and I'd be glad to pay $300 for it through my friend.....dunno why this is a "shitstorm waiting to happen." Perhaps someone can explain.

People get mad when you ask for accomodation pricing. I think all information is good information, but the generally sentiment of this board is against disclosure of such information.

I don't see why....ebay prices are usually pretty indicative of the employee/supplier pricing of such products, but there aren't any on ebay yet.

I could tell you but like was said its something not to be shared with everyone. Most best buys will not even carry them they will be special order only.

that is correct. If we didnt have a pretty much UNSTATED rule about this, considering this is not a COMPANY biased forum, then anyone could just post prices for stuff that they sell at a store. Thus having a business on a forum.
