Antenna Recommendation

Factory antenna broke years ago (telescoping with a spoiler). I have replaced it with OEM several more times, but it has never worked very well. Recently, I got a stubby one that clears the spoiler, but it sounds terrible too if I get a few miles out of town or listen to AM - probably 25-30%.

Can anybody recommend a good aftermarket antenna that will get AM very well and get me back to standard range?

I don't care if it is in-dash or what, just ask long as it doesn't cost an arm and leg.

There are plenty out there, but I wanted to get some opinions before I bought.

the powerd window mount ( hidaway) antenna's i sale work very well. you can mount it to the window or behind the dash.. never had a problem with them when it came to troubles with factory anttennas

Any aftermarket antenna is going to **** for AM.

The best solution for FM is an antenna mounted directly in the center of the roof.

Are you talking about the metra amplified antenna? those are ****ing garbage if you are. We've had to take about three of them back out of cars in the last month.
