Another thread about why Crutchfield > *

I am willing to pay more for CS onsome things. After they sent me my HU, they called me a couple days later to see if I needed tech help on the installation. I hadn't called them or thought twice about it, and out of the blue, there they were.

Example of unparralleled customer service to any other car audio business

They were going to overnight me an amp and I would send the old one back of course. What company would send you a brand new product overnight because a screw was missing?

meh i dont buy from Crutchfield because of the price of everything. Customer Service doesnt justify higher prices imo. As a company your supposed to provide service for the products you sell
The best price for the AP1000M was about $110 on millionbuy.com. It was worth the $30 to get 3 year warranty and support. Hiring more people to answer phones = higher prices. How many times has someone called a internet company only to have you call back (or lucky to get a call back) because the main guy isnt there? ex. Adire, AA, navone, etc.

Another good company ive had good service with was AudioControl and Maxxsonics. I had something that wasnt originally bought by me and with AC, they sent me a new bracket and screws no questions asked. I also had a old 80's Zed Audio amp and when I called Maxxsonics, the person looked up a matching plug as best he could and sent it for free.

ps. the one time i called AA when i got my atlas, chad picked up the phone and answered any questions i had. That was great but imagine doing that when everyone in the country is calling.

in theory that is correct but in reality does that happen?

I've done no business with them only because everything in their catalog I can find alot cheaper elsewhere.
crutchfield does run good sales from time to time. when it is around a $30 difference i go with crutchfield. sounddomain is also a pretty good place to buy but not quite crutchfield
