Tossing around several ideas for the v.2 SAE-1200D... one would have compatible remotes and one would not. We'll see after more testing is completed which route I go with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifThese will all get the same rebuild as the 1 Year Warranty amps do. For this price we can only do 30 days warranty, it's a "Clearance Sale". Jacob might be able to get remotes but I bet it's gonna be expensive, there is a whole new SAE-1200D v2 model coming out and I am not sure if it's gonna use the same remote, it probably will though.
Yep Xenon might have done 800rms at 1ohm with 14.4I sold my PG Xenon x600.1 for 150 bucks, used the paypal money from that to purchase this for $135 total. Was this an upgrade?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/ponder.gif.ec2527b23f1d287b60dcbba54f95edba.gif
The refurbished 3000s are 25% off - darn good deal IMO //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifnow when are the 3000d's getting the same % off when they do i want 4
so at 1ohm what would you say about the sae-1200's and the nine.1's at 14 volts? The refurbished 3000s are 25% off - darn good deal IMO //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
This really irritates me when people go talking about something they know nothing about....
The design and parts that are in the AQ1200D are similar to the Sundown SAZ-1000D, NOT the SAE-1200D. Totally different design, much more power output.
Sundown recently posted a test with the following results:
@ 1 ohm - SAZ-1000D = 1040 watts (which would be like the AQ1200D)
@ 1 ohm - SAE-1200D = 1770 watts (blew fuses at that point)
The AQ amp likely uses IRF640 and IRF9640 outputs, which are great, but this is a design that uses N and P Channel mosfets. The SAE-1200D only uses N Channel outputs, Fairchild FDA59N25, we replace with IRFP360LC like in the SAZ-3000D or SAZ-3500D and 1000 other Korean made big class D amps out there use IMO the IRF parts are better. On the power supply side the AQ1200D uses like 8 IRF3205 or something similar to that, and the SAE-1200D uses 12 IRF3205. The SAZ-1000D uses 8 DFP70N06 which are similar to what's in the AQ1200D if not the exact same.
I haven't power tested a NINE.1 but I doubt they can put out as much as the 1200D based on the build.so at 1ohm what would you say about the sae-1200's and the nine.1's at 14 volts?
