another sundown vs aq thread?

Chris has to actually repair the amp before sending it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Hence the wait. It is often faster than that, though, as has been mentioned.
makes sense. How much power actual power does the 1200 and 1500 put out? I'm stuck between deciding on the two. If there wont be much of an audible difference, I will just go with the steal.

or you could just buy 2 of the 1200's?????

oh shit, you could be on to something. I wonder how much power they are strapped? Is that what they call it? And how do you do the strapping? Noone has ever explained that as far as I know. My only guess would be to run RCAs out one to the other, but is that it? BTW My 2 subs are DVC wired down to 1ohm right now

Just bought two!
2 ea. SAE-1200D Refurbished Clearance $250.00

$250.00

Sub-Total:

$27.01

United Parcel Service (1 x 35.00lbs) (UPS Ground):

$277.01

Total:
Solid 2500 watts for 250$..definatly a steal. Gonna have to grab some of these soon.

Edit..Just picked up 2 for 264$ shipped mmm

so no strappng without the link???? what could i see from one @ 2ohms with good electrical?
Ive heard of the 1200ds putting out close to 1500 watts on 14+ volts at 1 ohm. If im not mistaken on the dt-r forum i think they got 800 watts at 4 ohm. Thats 500 more than rated.

I added the 1200D to the test page. Produced 1770 watts but blew the fuses and was less efficient than the SAZ-1500D.

Of course the 1200D was NOT made to run at the 1/2 ohm nominal load I'm testing on.

so at 1ohm then what like 1400 rms at 14volts? so maybe close to 1000@ 2ohms?
