Another RE audio sub down.. Is it just me?

A sex12 is an upgrade my current sub is a srx. But as mentioned now, the hds sounds like a better deal. Especially if it's cheaper.

that's what someone said about the RE brand.. Lol and yeah it pounds but I probably clipped it because I wanted more or expected more out of it.

Lol.. I love the fast responses on this site. Anyways, with my current situation (wife,kid,$) I love this amp too much and the space it leaves for trunk use. I'm really just leaning towards either the hds212 or sex12. If I had it my way the trunk would be all play no storage. But that's life. I will admit the box I'm using is a pre fab from sonic that was matched with it (kit).

I'm willing to bet a 10 inch sub in a proper ported box will destroy your 12 easily. Actually, you can use some wood, make a baffle and cut a 10 inch hole for the box you are using and get a sundown SA 10/hds210

With the last leg this sub is on I'm willing to bet my car, a Sony xplod would destroy this sub.

So if i was to go with a hds, who, where and how do I go about finding a box builder. I've heard and seen many people run SA and that was my original plan but I got pointed in 4 different directions and builds I just went with the RE. That hds210 looks beast though.. But -all I see is d2 I would need a d4 bridged to get 600rms.

Are you reading his post? He has 600rms. He doesn't want to upgrade his amp. He can't go bigger on the box. Hsd2 12 needs 2+ cubes net.

Let's just say I kept my box.. And got a hds210.. Got another sheet of mdf since the hole is too big.. Cut it smaller and then mounted it I would be good to go? I kid you not. The box that I have height wise is maxed out. Length wise I could go maybe 4" and depth about 8". I have no idea how many cubic feet that would come out to. But I feel very limited.

You might be able to get away with that. They like 1.5 cubes net. Don't know how much port area you have either.

Yes. They do fine in smaller boxes

Buy the HDS212, and use the extra money to get someone here to build you an awesome custom box.
