i just got a new 15" dual voice coil 4 0hm subwoofer. i thought i understood how to wire it, but, on each side it has two pair of (+) and (-) inputs. is this dual voice coil or quad ?? how do i wire it to 2 ohms, thanks

okay on this subwoofer, there are +- and +- on the right side of the sub and +- +_ on the left also. how do i hook this up and is it dual voice coil by what i listed above?

a voice coil has to have a positive and negative. wire positive from amp, to positive on one side, then from that side to the other side. same with negative

Still doesnt explain why there are 4 pairs of push terminals...

I havent seen the sub before, so I have no idea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Edit-

I am going to take a shot at it... I just saw a pic of the sub and it looks like they might be so that you can have two sets of cables going to each coil, because its Audiobahn is has some serious power handling; hence the needed wiring //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

But it could just be for ease of wiring, I know I have trouble sometimes trying to cram two wires into a single terminal. Every site its listed on it is DVC, so I can imagine it being QVC...
