What I drive:

Alright, I'm looking to get 2 of these

What amp would you recommend? I'm going to run them off a JVC KD-ar870 HU.

What am I going to need to do electrical wise?

Should I do 2 amps?

You could do one amp or two, either or, but to get the full potential out of those subs I'd recommend running at least 1000W RMS each. Perhaps check out a Kicker 2500.1? I've never used one but I have friends with less-powerful models and they're extremely happy with them.

The "Big Three" upgrade people talk about here is always a good idea for a system. That's when you replace your under hood power wires (alt + to battery +, battery - to body ground, engine block to body ground) with larger wires (0 gauge).

Hopefully this will work, but you still might have some dimming with the volume way up.

amp for components or speakers, an amp for sub/s ur set but you'll have a lot of wires and need a distribution block. i've ran 2 amps before it was easier then i thought to hook everything up.

as far as amps for the subs, should i do maybe 2 x RF T1000.1BDs? Maybe 2 hifonics? I'm pretty clueless here. I don't know a whole lot about car audio, I won't pretend I do

what size alt does that car have stock?

if you're gonna do 2000 watts... you're prolly gonna need more than the big 3...
