OK, I was trying to keep this a secret, but I guess I can't...

Wed or Thursday, I called RE and ordered (6) 12" XXXs in Dual 2 Ohms

They should be here in like 3 Weeks, hopefully...

I will power them with (6) Hifonics 1500Ds. Its gonna be a wall.. Haven't got the port thing worked out yet, (will start a thread on that later) but I think there gonna go in a 15Cubic foot enclosure with 300 square inches or port, btw, this is goin in my 2000 S-10 Blazer, right behind the front seats...

I know there are a ton of varibles, but how do you think it'll compare against a 2000 Extened Cab S-10 with a Snugtop that has a Cut through and Wall with 3 15" DD 9515e with a shitloada power??? Thats what one of the guys in my C.C. is workin on now... We are always back and fourth:readytogo ... I'm afraid he is gonna get me and I haven't even paid off these fricken subs yet...

David.... Help!!!!!!!! Ideas, Comments, Advise???

No one around here has even heard of RE.. They all use DD, Alpine, Kicker, Kove, or some other stuff... and I don't want this to be a flop...

I'm not sure, what power he will have.... he is goona use either American Bass or Memphis amps.... He won't tell me anymore details like box size or port or anything.... Like i said its a friendly competion.... Latley, with the guys in my club, we all try to stay a step ahead of each other.... Makes it fun...

Well since your going to be runnning ROUGHLY 9kw, that is,IF you can get a big enough alt(s) and batts, and you build your wall correct, you will most likely own.

Unless he pulls 10kw+ and had a CRAZY box design, I wouldn't worry if you play your cards right.

Seriously. You are going to need to run somelike like dual 250 amp alts and a nice battery setup...

Build the box right and you should show him up. I know the DDs are fantastic subs, but think about it, you have so much more displacement, and still rediculously high wattage, assuming you build a solid-well braced box, you should show him up pretty good.

Nate was consitently doing high 160's-low 170's with little power, compared to others in that dB range.

He did 170.x with 1 15" DD 9515 and about 5kw power, IIRC...
