Going in a 98 tahoe. Got my electrical str8 so here's the deal.

head unit- Pioneer AVH-P5000DVD

front stage- Pioneer Premier TS-C720PRS

front stage amp- ?

substage- 2x hdc315's in a 8.5 cubic ft box tuned to 38hz

alarm- custom 2 way pager with a shiny baseball bat by my front door.

Heard great things about the TS-C720PRS. I wanna stay passive and keep it simple for now. I'm 22 and will have the truck till i'm 25 when I can buy something brand new(insurance for my age is a ***** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif )

Did a search about how much power to send them passive and there's alot of different answers so i'm stuck. sub looks nice.... hehe... There is plenty better for the price of around 250.00 bucks. As for an amp, whats your budget? There are a lot of NICE amps out there that will do the job for around 250-350.

for a truck, that's a lot of area to cover. me myself, i'd want four speaks to get more immersive sound. pg rsds, pioneer revs, re comps. get four of those and an amp. otherwise, it looks good.

Haven't really thought about the amp yet as I don't really know how much rms i'll be sending to my frontstage. If there's better for the money what models do you speak of. I heard the TS-C720PRS beats out the rainbow slc 265 kick in the same price range. Forgot to add they must be bnib as I don't like buying used. I guest the real question is if there is better for the money, or if the TS-C720PRS is just fine, how much power can I send daily going passive? This applies also if you can find me something better for 250$, i would like to know how much i can send to those also.

250xwrms - 350wrms to the front stage. Headroom FTW. I sent you a PM with some more suggestions that I have personally compared to the 720PRS.

I don't need rear fill because 95% of the time i'm driving alone so screw whoever is in the back seat when there are people back there. The truck came with a jl audio component set up front with the rears disconnected and i liked the way it sounded i just need louder up front. Also came with 1 12 inch rockford he something in a prefab box off of a old school soundstream amp putting out 150 watts rms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
