Another Fuse Question

Ok

So I hooked up a 1800 watt mono block PT amp. I used a 100 amp fuse in the front with 4 ga wire, which hooks up to a dist block with 80 amp fuses. From the dist block im using 8 ga to the amps.

After a week the subs went out and everytime i would hook up a new pair it would blow them out.

So now im going with a smaller 1600 watt PT amp, which is about 550rms, and its going to be pushing two cvrs 10".

Is the above wiring correct and also the fuses. or should i go with a anl fuse in the front by the battery. Because at this point any fuse i put in the dist block it keeps going out, regardless of which amp i use. There is no short anywhere, not wires being pinched...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif not sure what else it can be.

Help me out guys. And dont ask why im using a PT amp, thats what the customer wants.

thanks

so disconnect the wire at the amp of the one going to the amp that keeps blowing the fuse.

insert fuse, if it blows your wire between the distro block and your amp is bad.

If it doesn't, but only does when the amp is connected, the I would unplug everything except for the power and ground and see what happens.
