Im just throwing this out there to give something to think about.

Obama wants us to convert to renewable resources and away form oil based fuels right ?

So, just like the bush thing with 9/11

Could it be possible that these rigs are blowing up to scare the people into getting away from oil by showing damages of drilling for it, could it be possible that these explosions are not accidents but more along the lines of something from the government, that normally might not happen, to make us rethink oil drilling which would make us change our minds on using oil at all.
