another dumb question

Hi guys, I just had a question on what I need to get to have the best audio experience possible. Right now, I have an aftermarket head unit, infinity 4x6 speakers, and rear 6x9 sony xplod's. While this has given me a huge difference in sound quality, I am still not satisfied. I would like to be able to turn up base in my stereo instead of having to put it on 0 all the time and would also like to go louder. So, what do you guys suggest I purchase to make my music louder and also give it that thump?

An Amp?

Subs?

tweeters?

better speakers?

i am kinda new at this but i dont think new tweeters are gonna give you "that thump"

Well, I don't wanna spend much. Maybe around $300.
