great post!! when i had my black cherokee last year, i drove on the beach with no problem. then i had a 3 inch lift and 30-somethin-inch tires. the truck was like that when i bought it. the cherokee i have now is mega-stock!! nothing extra on it. i tried driving on the beach about 4 months ago and almost got stuck even with the 4x4 on.
really glad you said this. i thought all it took to make a truck off road capable was a lift, some bigger tires and do s
omething with the air intake!! i won't be doing any offroading. the only "extreme" things i'll be doing is driving in city snow and maybe driving through sand dunes every once in a while. and they'll be flat sand dunes not hills....... if that makes any sense

. i was watchin vids on youtube to see what the grand cherokees are capable of; since like a few of the v6 GC got stuck a few times when it looked like they shouldn't have. the v8 GC were gettin busy tho.
