Well this is going to be my first install in over 11 years so here we go I will add pics in the next week or so. I am sure you will all like what I have planed

The sub enclosure will be nothing special I am doing a sealed enclosure with a few things added (just for looks). I will only be using the stock locations in the car there will be very minimal mods for the components that I am going to install.

This will all be in a 2000 Grand Prix Sedan, since I am a daddy, gots to have them 4 doors.

So follow the thread and watch for updates I think most of you will like it, I'd like to think of myself as a little more skillful than the average joe, I am a CNC machinist to so I may do a little machine work for this install I know i will have to just for the HU and Pre Amp so we will see.

This what I will be using I made a Paint print.

Ok I have all the components together I am just waiting on wiring to get here, I will snap a few shots of the compents. Just as a teaser:rolleyes: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Why all soundstream?? I had the amps already and if you have ever heard the exact components you'll know why they are one of the cleanest line of speakers you'll ever buy, the subs alone are just plain badass. Remember this is not new soundstream stuff fellas the new stuff is not so good:crap: I am an old schooler so I have a preferance for the older stuff.

Very Nice Old School, wish I would of kept my Exact's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif Did you already have the components also? Post pics when you get time!

I will be posting pics next week yet I have a new baby at home so time is tight right now, plus my other 3 kiddys.

I done some testing and I am running some different subs I am not going to end up using my Exact Subs I bought some piccasso 12s for this install they seem nice but now I just have to deal with them being DVC subs. I gottem for 125 shipped for the pair so I coundn't go wrong, well see how they work out.

I installed the subs in a prefab box just for testing its basicly a sealed box with 2 chambers of 1.25 CF. Little on the small end for these subs. I have 2 of my SA 120s running them in mono we will see how long the SA's last in a 2 ohm mono load they are putting out ruffly 260@2 ohms they are only rated for 180@4 ohms, but they are not getting very hot and seem to be handling the abuse very well. I checked the ouput wattage on a fluke mutimeter and it shows 260 at about the highest reading. Pretty amazing for a little *** amp. The subs sound very good and get pretty low even in a small box.

I am building the amp rack this weekend and start the Isobaric enclosure I will keep it updated.
