Android: Quandrant Standard scores

im wondering if i move from liberty mod, to cyanogen mod, if my performance will increase.... hmmm
From what I have read, Cyanogen is the most stable. I tried CoreDroid, and it was noticeably slower and less stable. I highly doubt Cyanogen would be any slower than Liberty, but I've never tried Liberty.

that AND it opens u up free tethering, which is the main reason i rooted mine in the first place
I get free tethering/mobile hotspot since it's my work phone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Oh wow.
You should HIGHLY consider rooting. Gets you access to Gingerbread, phone will be exponentially faster, and MUCH more stable. Had you played with my phone now (rooted) and before (non-rooted), you would have thought the non-rooted one was hacked and tweaked.

Just so you know...I work at AT&T and I play around with the Atrix's frequently. My phone is WAY faster and never crashes unlike the Atrix's which lag constantly and crash, randomly restart, etc. Your phone has huge potential, you should consider rooting!
My friend rooted his droid x and its faster but lately hes been having problems where his phone freezes up and he has to remove the battery to restart. That's one of the reasons why i haven't tried it. Once the iphone 5 comes out ill mess around with the atrix, if it gets fuxed up i will have the iphone for backup.

You have to root it first. Then it's just a tweak in Settings.
I'm not going to overclock daily until I figure out which speed is stable. It's quite likely that running 1.5ghz daily will put my phone into thermal protect quite swiftly.

A little fyi...My phone bench's at 1700-1900 stock. What a considerable boost just rooting it did!

yea, i'll co-sign on that... my stock benchmarked at 1600... then 2400, just with rooting it

He probably didn't run Cyanogen. I haven't had one single issue with it, period. Not one crash, no lag, etc. It's more seamless and stable than the iPhone 4.

The best part...you can boot the backup of the stock rom whenever you'd like. If you ever have any issues, just reboot the stock rom, or reboot the latest stable backup. If you reboot the stock rom (and you bought the phone at a corporate AT&T location), you can exchange the phone under the 1-year warranty for any software issues. It's highly probably that you can replace it even if it's rooted. We are extremely lenient on the return policy, water damage is the only immediate exception.

I just did my htc sensation, bone stock is 2050. I don't think the root is out for it yet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
Hmmm, I expected it would be higher than the Atrix...regardless, it is still a better phone. I wish we carried the Sensation!

My phone would be unbearable not overclocked lol. Or maybe I'm spoiled lol.

im thinking about getting the bionic if it comes out next month, or wait to see what samsung has planned next. Dual core + 4g = teh sekts

you think yours is bad... my first droid was a huwaei ascend from cricket.... HOLY GOD that phone *****!!!... even rooted, it got like a 400, haha

i'm just waiting for the quad core phones to start releasing in Q4

Haha I could imagine.

Is it Q4 now? Thought it was gunna be first half of 2012 last I heard. In that case I might wait. Though I don't see much advantage in quads yet except maybe in some specialized apps that are yet to be made. Developers are still catching up to dual core lol

no, quarter 4 isnt till like sept, i think.... but i've heard a few quad phones should be releasing then... supposedly, theres a nexus phone coming out that is INSANE... that, and you have windows 8 phones, which should be pretty sick... even tho, i'll stick with droid

Quad 4 processors in phone will come as early as Q1 next year by Motorola. Prepare for abysmal battery life. The Atrix was an exception for dual-core battery life only because it has the largest stock battery in a cell phone to date.

I believe we are still in Q2

Droid Bionic will likely be like any other Motorola...unstable as a man riding a bull with a jalapeno in its ass, but with specs to drool over. I have not played with a rooted Motorola yet (will be rooting my buddy's Atrix real soon here), so I can't comment on it's stability after rooting. I had HUGE hopes for the Atrix, and was severely disappointed by its performance.
