It uses Android Gingerbread, which is really old. Enjoy your organge buttons.

I've also searched for a long time for a unit that has android built in.

But most people don't recommend touching those Chinese units, The UI is ugly, the android version is Gingerbread, they are very slow & the most important thing - the sound quality on those units veeeery bad !.

I've stopped my search on Pioneer AVH-X8500BT (Or X8500BHS for U.S.), This unit has AppRadio Mode that through little app called arliberator can mirror your device with full touch compatibility so you can enjoy full android that is on your phone on the 7" screen !

You can also have the cut out version that doesn't have all the USB, AUX, CD and what's more functions, and is cheaper - called AppRadio 2 (SPH-DA100).

I'm not worried about the gingerbread thing my phone had gb now it's running ics sound quality is a turn off for me but like I said its been ordered so

Got it in finally, it's pretty cool and all but doesn't fit my dash. So it'll be for sale soon

Yea i powered it up on ky bench but it dorsnt fit in my dash because the genesis has kinr of a tilt to it and the top of the pad hits the top of the dash kit i also dont have tethering on my phone for internet but its a pretty cool unit no pictures right nkw i can get some later , the ui is a little sluggish but not unbearable, usb works ipod connector, it has a tv antenna but i dont know how to use it.
