An email I got recently, ( I feel sorry for this dude, srsly)

Okay so I occasionally along with some stuff i sell on craigslist put up posts for custom sub boxes.

So I get an email from this guy, about gettin a box built for his car for some subs I had up for sale and we meet up I take all the measurements and he wants to get it done and then at the last moment decided he's going to buy a sedan due to shitty gas mileage of his truck and wanted to know if I could still build him a box for some other subs his friend was going to give him for cheap. I said sure

So I get an email from him today, It read the following:

Hey a buddy of mine has 2 12 inch mtx for sale, they are in great cond.They are In a box. It has 4 holes in it that are plastic (ported or bandpass I thnik he said) but one is missing the plastic long piece and he said I don't need it because it's just for looks. and it has a glass piece in the front and says it's an SPL enclosure so I guess it's made to hit hard. He never hooked it up since his amp was broked.

Ones a mtx 4000 and one is a 4500. with no scratches or nothin

Should I buy those for $200 with 10 guage Monster wires and a Monster capacitor and RCA's?

He said the Monster wires and capacitor are alone worht the price because they're more copperi n (so they are more like 5 guage)

Would they hit hard with a high wattage amp??

I saw a plye amp on craigslist that does 2000 watts for $80 bucks. I think thst would slam them?

How muchs would you charge to install it in my new car?

I think you're just jealous I got a good deal, since I went to cartoys and they told me it;s a great deal and mtx is really good and so is monster, I'd rather pay them to install it since they have a lisncene and if it costs a little more I'm fine with it, since It will be done proffesionally and sound nice. You justs don;t know what you're doing. Thanks for nothing

Reminds me a someone I know who bought a cap for $200 because he thinks it will make the poswer "clean" and it's the most important part of his system because it lights up and blinks when it's powered on.
