Do RCA cables make a difference

I just picked up a Arc Audio XEQ to add to my system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif The location i want to mount it is right below my HU and all i need is a set of 3 ft rca's... All my local store has is monster rca and a set of 3ft 2 ch cables will run me $30! WTF! Thats $10 a foot!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif I went to best buy and they have 2 diff sets (1 for $7 and a better set for $20).

Anyone know if using the correct length and a more expensive rca will benefit me in any way?

Rca's matter for sure, but as long as you buy quality Rca's you will be alright, just dont buy no dollar store crap...

buy some good quality RCA's like Knu or something similar

rca's can matter in regards to noise rejection. that being said, more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better. more than likely the cheap one will work just fine.
