amps

I have had many different amps all on 4 guage wire.

I have had :

hifonics hifi 1000

Rockford prime 1000-1d

Rockford t10001bd

and now a hifonics hifi 1500.

the reason I switched back to hifonics is because both the rockfords were "cutting out" passed a certain volume the bass would stop working until I turned it down again. With the hifonics this was never a problem. Everyone tells me the t10001 would power my jl 12w6v2's better than the hifonics but it always cuts out. Why does this happen? How could I get it to stop?
