amps worthy of power CDT audio ES mids and highs?

my 2 picks so far are sundown 100x4 and cadence IA4... both have about the same power output question is, are the worthy of driving these speakers? I am looking for something about 100x4 with internal xovers to run the ES 07 min and DRT26 tweeter... any suggestion on a good quatitly amp? not looking to spend over 400..

depending on how much power you are running with subs, i would send more power than that to those comps. I run cdt cl-62cf's and run a zx850.4 on them only use 2 channels of course

SWFL the mids are rated for 100 RMS both do 100x4.. i have the clfgs with 150x2 and they take it, but when the passive xovers are bypassed its a different story..

KOL the KS300.4 doesn't have a bandpass xover, unless i misread the manual.. the JL looks very tempting as well..

any experence with the cadence and sundown?

found the j/l for 400 shipped! question is is it worth the extra 150 bucks over the cadence?

i think CDT makes pretty good drivers, no? any suggestions. so far its the cadence JL and sundown... anyone have the ES07 mids? hey where you at in LA? they have a shoe coming up pretty soon... really don't car to go to them anymore, but i like to hear different systems sometimes...

i want at least 100x2 for the mids... the tweeters won't need but about 50 watts tops... i would as like to keep it in one amp...

CDT makes good speakers, and you have the better speakers in their lineup Does your amp have to be a 4 channel? If so, you could look into the Digital Designs S4. It would be overkill on your tweeters but would really give some power to your mids. Either that or you could go with dual two channel amplifiers. It would probably blow your budget to go with dual amps, but it would be ideal to ensure that you get enough power to your mids and you can go with a smaller amp for the tweeters. I would suggest two Lunar amplifiers, since he is a Louisiana company, but that will definitely kill your budget too. Their L255 amp is $260 plus tax and I would almost be scared to see what the L2125 goes for. Something tells me that it will be more than $140:laugh:

As for me, I am in Lafayette myself. I can't tell you the last time I went to an official car audio show though.... It has been at least 15 years

I know kenny, and yes he makes some of the best amps no doubt, but im not willing to spend 500 on one 2 channel... the 4 channels offer very flexible crossovers..

if im going to spend this much i want SOME control,lol... the j/l will give the mids 150x2 and the other channel is 75x2.. I figure if im careful the keep the gain a bit lower on the tweeters ill be fine... im complating on going with sets of tweeters and crossing them around 2k...

BTW keey is a cool *** person.. i done some brick work for him and he GAVE me 2 50x2s... i bridged them to a pair of classic 6.5s about 5 years ago and it KICKED ***..
