I am wanting to run one of those V4000XD amplifiers at 4ohms to my AQ HDC315 D2 I can get this amp for $380 locally new. I will have 2 batts and a 250A alternator and 1/0 wire. And charging voltage is around 14.4V.
Its supposed to put out 2500wrms @ 4 ohms. Which is perfect for my COPPER coiled sub.
Or should I buy a GP4000D PRO which I could get at 450 at my door. But the problem is im a little weary of running 3000wrms at my HDC315.
I had ordered a US Amps MD3D but IkeSound wants copies of my drivers liscence and debit card faxed over, thats alot of hassle so I just decided to see what other options I have in amps.
I also want to run the hell out of my sub, if it blows ill just have it reconed with an aluminum coil. I want to get the most out of my sub, but I dont want to intentionally blow it, whats the most power I should run to my HDC315? Its in a 3.6cuft enclosure tuned to 38Hz.
