under 1 ohm i am thinking but you will get a reading.

maybe .02-.05 ohm depending on how much resistance is in the wire.

what you ocudl do to tell for sure is measure from amp ground to the bolt you have grounding that wire tot he frame. That will give you the maount of resistance in that piece of wire. Then meausre to another spot and that will give you the amount of resitance "through" the ground path.

also it gets hot when the volume is turned all the way down and it sits for like 30 minutes

enclose them in a box and cool them. i have never had amps really do what they are doing to you. do you by any chance live in hell?
