amps in a civic

I have 2 rockford x6's that i want to put in my civic but i am concerned about battery power. What would be the best way to go about this. Any feedback would be appreciated.

What year civc, and what is the ratings on the amps?

it is a 02 civic and i believe that the x6's are gonna put out 850 watts at 2 ohms

You can try putting a larger battery under the hood as well as upgrading your big 3 but you can only fit about a 600cca amp battery under there. Your best bet is to buy a h/o alternator for your car.

actually i got an 02 civic also,i installed a new, bugger battery. the stock battery and the physical size of it ****. you can fit a larger battery in there with no problems . i got a truck/suv battery (970cca) from wal-mart for $70 and it made a huge difference. i was running 1600 rms at one time and didn't have any probs. i will soon be running close to 3500 rms, but i will be looking into a h.o alt. i will also be upgrading big 3 with 0 gauge

thanks for the replys. will be installing them on friday. i have a new battery for my ford truck im gonna see about squeezing in there. i have 3 questions

1. h. o altenator?

2. the big three?

3. what about 14 volt batterys?

okay, after looking into it I have figured out the answers to my ?'s. I am going to go ahead and install the 2 x6's and see what happens. I will give it about a month and a half and do the big three, order a 170 amp high output alternator, and optima yellow top. I still need to do my mids and highs. I think I will run into less problems in the long run if I go ahead and do it now. This has been my first thread on this forum and even though i didn't get that many replies (probably because I am new here), I appreciate the ones that did. This website has been very helpful as a whole. If any one knows where I can get a good deal on this stuff let me know.
