okay i have 2 JL 15" W6s in a sealed box will be custom soon but now it's still a good box. anyways... right now i have a kicker zr360 powering them. when i googled the amp and have brought it to installers everyone of them wants to buy it off of me or tells me not to trade it.

i am not by the car and do not know how my subs are hooked up to it bridged/mono/ohms no clue how right now. i know when wired up right the jl's will do 1.5ohm stable. but is this better than 3 or 6? Below are the specs on the JL's. It doesn't say max power the subs can handle so i have no idea.

i have a 200amp alternator so i'm not too worried about the power drain. but i was looking at class d amps out there and now i just don't know what to do. here is an amp i was looking at with a 5 year warranty:

The above amp looks to be a good deal... other than that i was thinking of purchasing a sundown audio, an aq, or a memphis amp. all would be class d, 1ohm stable, and high wattage. Would running these subs at a lower ohm even provide more power or have cleaner sound? assuming running the same amp or whatever i buy?

but i would want to have a HIGH powered amp>or= 1000watts rms; so i wouldn't have to max it out to get a lot of sound from my subs. but i don't know the max power for the JL's. Sound quality is prefered over loudness or sql>spl for me. again it's in a sealed box and i'm sticking with these speakers. so what would you guys do for an amp? keep mine? get a new one? i lost the one cover to a side of the amp a long time ago and have no clue where it is at. Sorry just don't have a clue what to do about this. Thank you all so much and sorry this is so long.

FOr a lil more you can get a lot more power AQ2200 is 389.http://www.audioque.com/aq/AQamps2200D.htm

Their 1200 watt amp is also a better deal than the Nine.1 for $$ I believe both are underrated by a little, 1.5 ohms will still get you 1k out of a 1200 watt amp that makes rms at 1 ohm.
ahhh thank you so much for your help! that is a great help to me because i wasn't totally on board with the 1.5ohm versus 1ohm or 2ohm but i think i get it now. just so my speakers can take the power it is good. so even when i hook them up 1.5ohm wiring-wise the amp can be in 1ohm and the system will work fine. as long as i don't overpower the subs? i think that will work.
