Amps, Alts, and Batts

Looking to hook up a 1250.1 kicker amp to 2 15'' powerbass @ 1 ohm. Wondering if I should get an extra battery to power the amp, or an alternator, or both?

you be fine stock. but youll get some dimming, upgrade the stock batt first. then you can go from there. (big 3, alt, etc)

is that kicker 1ohm stable?

i believe it's the sx so it is 1 ohm stable if it is. do the big 3 and run some 1/0 guage to that amp. if that fails get an ho alt
