He lives in a country off the coast of Italy i believe, hes gonna be spending a lot of money either way most likely, and did you see what he said the cost of the kicker is? Kicker is a good company, but Sundown is a growing company that from what i've seen has taken care of its customers in every way it can.. I'm biased mainly because i run their 3000 watt amp, i'm in no way affiliated with them. The kicker is a great amplifier as well, but i could not see it being as efficient as the sundown nor will you see the same power. The kicker is a good amp and will do its job, but if its the same price or near the same price as the sundown, its a no-brainer.

No, not at all. The problem for some people is kicker amps are not 1 ohm stable, so not everybody can run them depending on given coil configs. I do think for their retail price you can get better product if you need a 1 ohm stable amp though. Overall the amps are great though.
Lately I've heard PDX amps blowing fuses. There's even a thread on here about the 1000.1 blowing fuses like no tomorrow. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Both are great products though with great company support.

I'm pretty sure that guy is doing something wrong. Then again, I can't vouch for the performance of the mono amps. I am using the pdx 4.150 and have never had an issue with it.

Agreed, except the older pioneer and kenwood amps aren't so bad.

I think you might do good at least checking up on the Sundown amp. I have not checked how much their amps are in my country yet, but I checked on the 12" Nightshade sub, and it is approx. 30% more expensive than listed on their homepage. I live in a very expensive country, the kicker is more than 2400 USD here. The Sundown SAZ-3000D is only 1149 USD on their homepage. They have at least four resellers that you could try, UK, SWE, Israel and Benelux for prices. I even think that you can buy from soundsolutionsaudio.com directly, and then it is only 899 plus shipping, and I don't think shipping will add 900 USD that would be needed to reach the price of the kicker.

This became a quite confusing message, but here it's 5.30 in the morning.
