amplifier wiring help

ok so i have a hifonics brutus bxi1608D 1600 watt amp that gets 1100 watt rms at 2 ohms as well i have one alpine type r 12" subwoofer 500 watt rms 1500watt peak im putting in a sealed box for now untill i finish building my ported..... (i will be turning the amp down so i dont over power the sub....)

i was wondering because i ahvent ran any wires or anything yet in my car for the amp what type of wiring kit would be good but cheap enough for this install.....

and what would be a good website to buy from because walmart doesnt even have any 4gauge wire at all and there arent many audio places near by...? thank you for the input if any

They have decent wire for the price, best deal you will find for a kit. If that is ALL you are running, you will probably be fine with a 4awg kit, but if you ever plan on upgrading, get a 1/0 kit.

well if i do upgrade it wont be untill summer but even if i do itll just be adding a 2nd type r not a bigger amp tho cuz ill wire the 2 type rs in 1 ohm to the amp and itd b 800 watts rms to each so thatd b perfect... right?

so 4 gauge would be perfect for that right if i dont increase the size of my amp? just add a 2nd sub?
