Amplifier whine

Coming from the amp itself, not from the speakers.

I've never heard of this. My ground is under the carpet to the body, paint is sanded down around it. What would cause this

Oh, and the amp doesn't always do this. Sometimes it will and sometimes it will not. It stops when the amp turns off also.

i don't think my AQ whines... hmm is it quite noticeable?

i had a whine when i turned my HU off it went away. Then I grounded RCAs and it stopped whining. But I think that was coming from the speakers though

They sometimes do that, and it's a high frequency that the designers do not expect the user to hear.
