I was born in salinas but if I recall most shops around there don't know jack well marina autosound had a sick spl car way back

come to think of it, i actually dont know of anyone who really really knows audio shit. i know one shop thats alright, but they do mostly alarms and stuff.

either go up to the coast or down the coast to get help. That area isn't a "hotbed" for car audio like oakland/san fran, sacramento, and san diego. Nothing but rich people and farmers in that area (I love monterey though, so beautiful and the temp is perfect for me).

We can probably help point you in the right direction though. What kind of car do you have? What equipment do you have? what don't you like about it?

yup. weather is awesome here. not too too cold and not too hot either. usually just a good comfortable weather.

where do you live?

but yeah, around here there isnt some crazy audio scene. there is a lot, but i think 99 percent of them are either best buy deals or some L7's installed at some local shop that doesnt know much. so it sucks.

i got a lexus

two amps. clarion, jbl.

diamond comps around.

and re audio sub.

first install and i think i could use some help to get everything set really good. i got quite a few minor problems that just bring downt he quality of my sound and just makes me feel like i can improve it all. not comfortable with my system like i should be.

for one my sub. got a re mx and i dont think it should be sounding or hitting like it should.

second.. my comps.. get a lot of noise, statics, gota get some help tunning everything.

just small shit like that, a lot of it ive tried fixing but i need some more help or ideas how i can improve it all

but yeah i heard about greg and audio connections. skittles on here told me about audio connections.. but never heard of you guys actually.

bascially though. its my first system build, really into car audio though. and i want to improve the quality of my set up right now. i just finished installing it a couple weeks ago, but i keep running into small problems, one after the other and i guess i need some outside help now lol. im still a rookie at this stuff and trying to learn. id like to see some of your guys builds and stuf. really into car audio, love this stuff.

greg has built some of the loudest systems in northern cali for over 15 years now.king of cali in 2009 audio connections cars took 5 plaques and if there is one this year we'll probably do the same or better call me on fri we can talk about your stereo and wher you want to go with it
