Hello, I just picked up a 07 f150 an I want to put a center console box, reason being is because I need back seats for job equipment an my baby. Any ways I just picked up 2 sets of the alpine type r components. Making new door panels to hold 2 6.5s an a tweeter each panel. Anyway

I'm picking up a sundown sa 10 for the console box an was wondering whic amp would be appropriate for the woofer a lot of amps are 2 ohm stable. The sub is a d4 so....any suggestions? Not really on a budget

I'd get something that does like 1k - 1200 rms @ 2 ohms CLEAN... How much power you will want to run daily will depend on your enclosure, I'd start out low & break it in good 1st then see what it likes, I'm giving my SA-12 800 rms right now, but my box is wayyy big & so is my porting (NOT designed for the SA, it's for the new X) and it slams pretty d@mn hard for a single 12 that I paid $100 for used lolz

If you're not on any budget grab an SAZ-2500, that will give it all it needs and then some @ 2 ohms, plus should you ever want to add another sub you could and then run the pair @ 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Well if you want to run 1 ohm, then be sure you buy a SA-10 D2, NOT the D4 then... And yes 1k should do that just fine... No, I'm not running a center console setup with my SA-12, it's in my trunk - Pic:
