Amplifier strapping

Running a 1ohm class d mono 800rms.
Looking into strapping another 200 -300rms amp. Not sure what brand. But my ?s are. Does strapping add another ohm to final impedance? And does the new amp have to B same class (D) or no? Hope this makes sense,lol. T.y.

To strap amplifiers, they have to be identical. And they have to be made to strapped. Not all amplifiers are strappable.

Yeah amps only strap to the exact same amps, and they have to be made to be strappable.
