amplifier selection?

i have 2 12"sonyl xplods that are 1100wats peak. so what is the maximum watts for an amp i can have. i have a 800watt logic plx28 and i want to upgrade to an amp that will actually do close to what its wattage is.

a friend of mine has one of those crystal 1000 watt amps are those good cuz i was thinking about one of those.

peak watts mean shit. what's the rms?

1st off.. those subs won't even come close to handling 1100 watts.. Peak means shit.. 2ndly.. Logic SoundLab PLX28 puts out a rough 200Watts X 2 so each sub right now is getting 200 watts.. I've never heard of crystal.. but I'd seriously suggest you buy some new subs if you going to be getting a new amp.

the subs are 300watts rms

and that crystal amp is made by pyramid im pretty sure
