Amplifier recommendations for ~3kw and up

I currently have two copper AQ HDC3 15's in my car on an RE ztx 5000.1, and i love the amp, but its rated at 2500wrms, which wont utilize them to their full potential of 1.5k each (or more as some people say) and is only stable at 1ohm. I have a third HDC in my room waiting to be put in but i need to find an amplifier capable of running them as cleanly as my current amp. What would be a great amp or amps (being affordable so no $1500 amps lol unless i absolutely have to) that i could use to really get these things moving? The ohm load will likely be in the .6 to .8 range iirc so itd probably have to be half ohm stable unless some monster amp does that kind of power higher than that. It doesnt have to be a new amp, so if someone knows what a crescendo for instance goes for, that would be good info. Im not really asking a whats the best amp, etc, just some quality recommendations for my power range. I fould a soundstream tarantula xxx 4000d(?) local for a decent price, but that thd level scares me a bit. Yes i have upgraded electrical. And im also not in any hurry to find one, as i havent even started on getting the third one in there. Thank you all in advance.

I have always liked crescendos, and if i could find a good price on one itd be tempting. I dont remember which model it was but a guy here had one hooked up to a 18" zv.4 and it was impressive.

Csu, do you have any idea how much you were pushing dropped that low on the aq? I think id be good higher than that and a bit safer for the amp. It might look a bit better to have matching equipment back there too!

I think those would be the main contenders, due to the price and that ive actually been around the two brands more. $750-$800 would probably be tops on my budget and even new those fall around there. Ill have to check around on some used prices while im saving up. Thank you guys!

how many amps is your high output alternator , how many runs of 0 awg do you have in place , what does you battery bank consist of?

5000 @ less than 1 ohm , just saying

**** for $660, you could get a Taramps HD4k

4k rms at 12.6v and 4800 at 13.8

4k+ rms for $660 and only draws 199 amps at 12.6v

Hella efficient amp. Like extremely efficient

what impedance are your subs? you could either get a 1 ohm or 2 ohm version

heres my clamp of one of them. i was close to 11k with them both strapped at .25ohm. I had 2 batcap 8600s with both of them and dropped to about 12.8v. only had 1 8600 when i clamped the one amp below. They played real well wired that low and never went into protect. And they were only on 2 12s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

AQ3500.1 v2

- wired at .25ohm rising to .9ohm

- 15.2v dropping to 13.1v

- Total Watts 4088watts

Also, if you could find the original aq3500, i had one of them wired at .25ohm and it did just as good as the V2s. Just not as much power, but they were cheaper

Ive never heard of Taramps before, maybe just cause its Brazilian?

Those are some pretty impressive numbers on the aq though. I never knew they were such monsters.

And 350z, my electrical still being upgraded as well, but right now i currently have a 260a mechman, and an xs d1200 in the trunk. Adding a second run of 1/0 this weekend hopefully. It keeps up with my current setup well, but i know that'll change when i move up.

The taramps are good amps but will blow if you wire below their stable ohm rating or if you don't have a great electrical system.

For 3k, if either add another d1200 or just get one bigger battery
