Amplifier Question

At a local store, this guy offered me a KX600.1 brand new amp for $299.00 and I'm willing to buy it.

The amplifier is a Kicker KX600.1

http://www.cardomain.com/item/KIC04KX6001

RMS Power: 600W x 1 @ 2 ohms

RMS Power: 300W x 1 @ 4 ohms
Now my question is, should I use this amp to power my pair of MTX subs, or should I just wait till I can buy the 2 12" CVR's?

2 12' 4500 MTX single coil Subwoofers

http://www.cardomain.com/item/MTXT451204

Frequency Response: 30-150Hz

Recommended RMS Power: 225W

Peak Power Handling: 450W
Thanks in Advance! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Dont spend 300

Read the fine print.

$36.90 shipping + $34S&H + $3.00 shipping insurance + $211.90 = $285.80 final cost for an amp from an unauthorized internet retailer selling an amp that's probably a refurb w/ no manufacturer warranty.

-or-

He could spend the extra $13.20 and buy it from a local authorized dealer, not wait for the item to be shipped to him, and get an item that is not a refurb and comes with manufacturer warranty.

Hmmmmm...which sounds like the better deal to you?

Did i say that he should buy that exact one....no i didn't

The point was that he could get one for less than 300

And lest see its not 36.90 plus 34.00 shipping and hadnlig, thats each extra item, maybe you should pay more attention to the fine print

Well, your point sucked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

For the tiny amount more than that "point maker" you used, he would be FAR better off buying the one offered to him from the local shop. That is a hell of a price, frankly. And not worth the risk of buying off of egay to save $13 but increase his headaches 10 fold.

I don't know why everybody thinks that if it's not from egay, it's a bad deal.

Hes not saving 13, hes saving 50

Thanks for the input guys, but would It be safe to get the MTX's powered by this amp or no? Also the package had a paper inside that says the amplifier is certified at 725 watts real power. I don't want to blow something up.

He said at a local store, he never mentioned if it was an authorized dealer or not. They could be selling some unauthorized products. There is no reason to be a little ******* alll the time.
