Amplifier powers off and on

My wires on my amplifier are all on the right places, no faulty wires. Amplifier powers on Like it’s supposed to when not connected to any speakers or head unit. However, when I try a 2-channel speaker connection which is wired to the amp’s terminals, it then starts shutting on and off repeatedly and the car slightly shudders each time it’s powering on and off. I got a new battery as well so battery shouldn’t be the issue. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Try running a wire from the engine block to a bare metal spot on the strut tower. It seems your ground is lacking for both car and system.
