God ****, I still forgot to add another one, the LANZAR OPTI500X2, it can give 750x2rms @2ohm so I could get another exact sub later on... can get it for $289.99, so those who vote for this one , just write a thread that say this one;)

THX EVERYONE THAT IS VOTING APPRECIATE IT

Lanzar opti's are excellent for the $$.

I love kenwood, but i can't figure out the prices of their sub amps. They need to gear more focus toward power vs. quality for a product that only produces a 200hz range....

so your saying that kenwood isn't that good overall in their sub amp, there is better in other word?

I wish that Kenwood had a more logical approach to naming their products. If they are the same they were years back, the product name or designation has absolutely jack to do with anything such as power, channels etc.

You wont be disappointed by a kenwood amp. They put out what they say they put out.

All i'm saying is unless you're going for a 100% sq setup, you can get a lot more bang for your buck from another company.

I was gonna go all kenwood, but couldn't snatch a xxv-03a in time before they got discontinued, but now that i actually pulled my head out of my a$$ and looked around, there's so much more out there for the $$.

I've owned a lanzar opti2000d, and it was a terror. I had it hooked up to two 12" L5's and smoked those coils in no time. No clipping, just straight coil burn.

This time around, i'm giving the 2006 hifonics a go. From what i hear, they put out a bit less than rated power, and not 100% reliable, but from my experience no car electronics can be 100% reliable, mostly due to the environments they're subjected to on a day to day basis, and if i buy a 2000 watt amp, and get 1600 watts, i'm not gonna complain for less than $400 shipped.

Good luck.

Opti 1400d for the price/performance
the lanzar is 240$(190$ is the refurbished) and the nine.1 is 300$, I beleive 60$ more for more power and seems better in terms of built quality.. is well worth it... am I correct?
