Amplifier Grounding

You will have to trim down the 0 gauge quite a bit. I had one and i had to cut out quite a bit of the hyperflex to get it in there. Decided to just run a 4 gauge from the distro block to the amp. Ran fine with it.

You do realize that he asked about a ground right? You should NEVER run a ground from the battery to the trunk. Always make your ground wire as short as possible.
only time u should ground to the batt is if u are running one(or more) in the trunk with the engine battery still up front
You do know that is the best ground in your whole vehicle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

you are an idiot if you think the best ground in a vehicle is the battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

where is the battery grounded?

OP--- the best ground would be directly to the chassis, but since it's highly unlikely you can access it, on any piece of the frame (free from paint/primer), as close to the actual chassis as possible.

lololol less resistance and grounding to a common point, sure seems dumb //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Bunch of idiots around now adays

wow the idiots here the neg post on the battery is the absolute best ground think about how the electricity flows when grounded to the frame here ill lay it out for you

bat + to amp + best positive run

amp - to frame, frame goes back to the bat -

amp - to bat - is the same thing only better since it is a continuous run of metal resulting in less resistance in the wire no welds or bolts to make weak points of connection

the frame is just like one big piece of wire

grounding is just a common use of a piece of conductive material to combine all negative connections

haa beat me to it man people are idiots nowdays
and the sh!tty thing is that they have a few thousand post and are the ones giving the wrong advice, they should take the time out to learn wtf they are talking about, thats why so many very good members leave or dont post much..
