Amplifier Grounding in a truck

I just installed an amp & subs in my 2005 suburban. I sanded all the paint off in an area under the carpet under the rear seat and installed the ring terminal with a couple self tapping screws.

My question is since this is a body on frame suv is it okay to ground to the body it seems to be working fine I'm just not sure if the body is the best place but I'd rather not drill a hole in the floor to ground to the frame

the body can work as long as its a good ground
