so i have a rockford fosgate prime 5 channel brand new amp.... had it for 2 weeks running off of 2 6x9's... then i put 2 more on it today and tried to run it but then it kept throwing itself into protect mode any time it tried to hit a base note like the amp wasnt able to put out enough power to push the speakers... the wires are not grounding themselves out i know that.... the amp isnt broken i know that...would maybe a line driver help the situation? the gains are only set around 4-5 out of 10 so its not being overpushed i think because it doesnt get loud enough to really hurt my ears before it starts distorting.... please help ... thank you all for your input

would u mind throwing me a diagram or an explanation of what that wuld look like to make sure that i did it right?... im just a DIY'er here

four (4) ohm 6x9's wired to 4 ohms on a 4 channel all in the same box... wouldnt they all be just connected on the amp as you normally should? 1 pos to the pos on the amp. 1 neg to the neg on the amp

I would try a pair of Bass Blockers on the rear speakers. I always place them on Coax. speakers generally, Should help quite a bit I like PAC ones...
