hi everyone,

just got my amps back from audiosavings(hifonics goliath xxv), i blew it the first time from some odd reason.

so since then i upgraded all my grounds, triple checked everything.

got it hooked up.

annd now its playing good. but the problem is its getting very hot after playing for about 30 mins.

is that normal?

because my last amp was the kicker zx750.1 and it doesn't even get hot.

just curious because its my first time having a high wattage amp.

also it seems that my btls doesn't move that much compared to youtube videos.

setup is on my sig.

thanks!

i had a goliath blow up in my face (thanks tsgp)

go get some tiny computer fans from like circuit city or radio shack and put them on the sides of the amp to cool it down

and as far as the subs im assuming ported enclosure

when your playing the note the box is tuned to the subs move the least

it does get load and it moves but not as crazy at the vids on you tube.

i did put 2 computer fans on the left side. but it still gets hot.

i think its because i put the amp on like a box with panel so its a little bit sealed off with little ventilation. do you think thats the reason why?

it could be because your electrical is not up to par. You mentioned that you had a ZX750.1 and then went to this amp? If so, did you use the same electrical setup?
nope when i was using the zx750.1 i was only using my stock alt and optima bat upfront
