Amplifier decision

what bothers me is a class d can be as inefficient as it is.

i honestly doubt most people can hear a difference unless we are talking more than a 3% THD difference or more.

alot of other amps have nice features produce the same amount of power and don't **** as much juice.

I had some zapco 1100.1's from last year that were more efficient than the 1000/1's. those are regulated as well. and they cost less than the 1000/1 when i got them from the dealer.

you can get the same quality or better than the 800-1000 that i have seen local car shops sell those amps for.

 
I would still rather take a Jl 1000/1 over that zapco 1100.1, the zapco has regulated power supplies but not a regulated output, so I would rather take the jl 1000/1, it might not be as efficient but its still doing 1000 watts continuously @ 1 -4 ohms
