Amplifier classes

So a A/B would draw more power from your battery and more strain on your alternator than a D? Are D amps only made to produce low frequency?
Yes most of the time a class a/b will draw more current than a class d for the same power.

There are full range class d's and tri-path which is similar in efficiency to a class d plus im sure a few others that I cant come up with at the moment.

hmm, i was so sure i read somewhere calss D draw the most current. i guess im wrong.
