I have a shark audio 2500, @2 ohm getting super hot. It's one ohm stable. I also have a glx 1400.1 that's Not getting hot at one ohm. Would insufficient powerwire and grounds cause the second sub amp to work harder? Causing it to get stupid hot @2 ohm? What are your thoughts? Thank you for viewing. Fyi two batterys in back 4 gauge everywhere and 8ga from front to back no big 3.....I can only imagine where your minds going after reading that lol.

Yes small wire can cause this. Also a bad ground and or bad ventilation of the amp. If there are vents on the bottom of the amp. Then use some spacers to give a 1/4-1/2" space under it Also get a big 3 kit

It def should not be getting that hot though am I correct? Anyone have a shark 2500....its doing the job on my 15 inch 8500s at 2. 1ohm may end up too much after electrical upgrade.
