ok i have a little problem that i need some help with. I have 2 d2 fi q's and i want to add a third. it comes out to be 1.34 ohms. i currently have 2 kicker kx 1200.1's and i want to add a third. is it possible to strap two of the amps and run them at 2 ohms to two of the subs and run the third one at 1 ohm to the last amp. i guess my question is will i have a problem if i run two of the amps at 2 ohm and the other one at 1 ohm

you'll have a hard time setting gains. are all 3 subs in the same chamber?

dont have a box built yet was just trying to figure out if it was possible b4 i bought the 3rd sub

it'll be a b!tch to tune your amps. i would recommend against that.

you'll be running different ohm loads, with different power to the same sub stage. it'll be constant tweaking for a while, if you don't mind. i never got mine right when i did this. i ran 3 subs on 2 amps. unstrapped. it may be worth looking at selling the 2 amps you have and chipping in a couple hundred afterwards and just getting a couple bigger amps that are strappable. may not cost much more than buying that 3rd 1200.1.
