Hey I just got a free amp and sub from a buddy... I went and bought the wiring and hooked it up outside the truck... Worked great.. So we unplugged it, wired it through it and hid the wires... Plugged it in and now everything works but the sub.... What could possibly gone wrong?

Go through all the wiring one at a time starting with the sub. How are you sure the amp is working? How did you ground it outside the truck?

I grounded it inside the truck that's connected to the body of the truck... Which has paint on it tho...

The blue light on the amp turns on

Remove the paint where the ground is for a proper contact. Plug a different sub or speaker into the amp to see if it plays. If it still doesn't, check the source. With a simple 3.5mm headphone jack to RCA cable, you can plug your phone or ipod or whatever directly into the amp to see if it plays.

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
